創作理念：

『藍天之子』是一件邀請觀眾即時互動的作品，作者以3D動畫及互動遊戲Beagle軟體，創造一個虛擬實境的夢幻校園，當觀眾啟動互動機制的介面時，觀眾的臉部立即被擷取於作品的水晶球動畫內，且可自由飛翔於校園內各個空間。此作品強調附中學生如『藍天之子』般的自由翱翔且吸取養份於附中校園內，期待畢業後能從此啟程飛向世界完成夢想。

Artist's Interpretation:

"Kind of the Blue Sky" is an artwork that invites viewers to engage in real-time interactions. Using 3D animation techniques and Beagle interactive game software,the artist his created a virtual-reality dream school. When a vistor launches the interface of the interactive mechanism,his/her animated face is immediately captured in the crystal ball and he/she can fly freely all over campus. The artwork emphasizes that the students of the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University are"Kids of the Blue Sky" who fly freely throughout the campus to learn anything and everything,and based on this experience,will fly into the outside world after graduation to mark their dreams come true.

KIDS OF THE BLUE SKY
創作理念：
創造互動性的多媒體動態影像，並邀請觀眾與作品作互動。此互動模式猶如「虛擬
⻆色扮演」被載在水晶球內，觀者的臉部被即時截取於水晶球上，經由啟動機制飛
翔於校園內各個空間，水晶球飛翔的路徑也會因著觀者手持互動的介面，即時操控
水晶球的動作，而飛翔於影像內。整件作品強調附中學生如「藍天之子」的自由翱
翔且吸取養份於附中校園內，期待畢業後能從此啟程飛向世界完成夢想。
Art Concept：
The multi-media dynamic images which are created for interaction are invited to
audience joining with this works. This interactive mode look like "virtual role-playing"
is contained in the crystal ball. Viewer's face is immediately intercepted in the crystal
ball through the mechanism trigging to fly in the various spaces within the campus.
That crystal ball flying path will be effective by hand-held interactive interfaces.
Real-time movement manipulates a crystal ball soaring within scene. Whole piece
stresses that high school students affiliate with "Son of Blue Sky", as the same time
students can free fly and get nutrients in the Affiliated Senior High School campus.
We expect that all of students make their own dreams come true after graduation.

(二)互動操作說明牌
(1)互動操作說明文字：
1.使用者將鳥形立體造型拿起後走進互動區域。
2.使用者的影像即時擷取至畫面中的水晶球內。
3.使用者可前後左右擺動鳥形立體造型以操控水晶球遨遊虛擬校園場景。
4.使用結束後請將鳥形立體造型放置於原處。
